Welcome to Eastbourne Electric Car Club. We are and On-Road Radio Controlled Car Club, run by a group of enthusiast volunteers to bring everyone into the sport of racing radio controlled cars.

We race 1/10th scale touring cars, and tamiya minis, but are always interested in starting up new electric classes.

Meetings are held at our purpose built tarmac race track which the members hand built in 2006 after many years of planning and saving, every Wednesday evening under floodlights, and every fortnight on a Sunday. You will see from the top right when our next few meetings are, and a link to the full calendar which can be downloaded and printed.

Wednesday Evenings - The track is open from around 6.30pm, practice is allowed as soon as you arrive, with booking in starting around 7.15pm with the first race on the line at 8.00pm. 3 rounds of qualifying sort you out for the finals. Finishing up around 10.30pm

Sundays - The track is open from around 9.00am, practice is allowed as soon as you arrive, with booking in starting around 9.30am with the first race on the line at 10.00am. 4 rounds of qualifying sort you out for 2 rounds of finals. Finishing up between 2pm and 3pm depending on numbers.

You do not need to be a member of the club to race, although it is cheaper to race as a member, but if you are new to the club, your first race meeting is FREE.

For those new to the hobby, or returning after a break, the club runs a fleet of loan cars allowing you to compete with other drivers without the initial outlay for a new car. At the other end of the spectrum our investment in the latest timing equipment allows you to monitor your lap times to hundredths of a second and compare your times with every other racer within the club or your chosen championship.

Within this website you will find details of the club's track locations, local information, club championship standings and details of visiting championships.

Our active forum allows members and non-members alike to discuss all aspects of racing and indeed many aspects off the track as well.

If you are unable to find any information relating to the club or hobby, please contact us or look in the forums - the chances are that someone has already been there before you and will be willing to help.

The club is also available for any media enquiries; please contact us for details.
