Thank you for taking an interest in Joining Eastbourne Electric Car Club.
Hopefully, around this website you have found all the information you need, visited the club to see what we are all about, and are now looking to become a member.
We currently have two types of member, Junior (under 16 on Jan 1st) and Senior. A one year membership of the club costs £20 for a junior and £30 for a senior, and runs from Jan. 1st to 31st Dec. After 1st July each year the membership fees are halved (Junior £10, Senior £15).
Race fees for a junior are £3 on a Wednesday evening and £4 on a Sunday. Seniors pay £4 on Wednesday and £5 on Sunday.
In addition to the membership we do ask all members to become a BRCA Member, this costs £12 per year and runs 1st Jan. to 31st Dec. and is required once a driver (member or not) has attended three race meetings. If you are a junior driver, and are joing the club at the same time, the club will subsidise your BRCA membership and only requires £6 to become a member of the BRCA. Even if you do not wish to be a member of the club, you can still race, and compete in all the championships but the race fees are slightly increased. Junior non-members pay £5 on Wednesdays and £6.50 on Sundays, and senior non-members pay £6 on Wednesdays and £7.50 on Sundays.
